Today, Pride in London is proud to announce the headliner of the Trafalgar Square stage: pop icon Chaka Khan. Chaka Khan joins a phenomenal artist line-up bringing together LGBTQ+ icons, activists, diverse voices and performers.
Chaka Khan is a global music icon who has redefined pop, soul, jazz, and funk and has had an indelible impact on the contemporary music landscape. The ten-time Grammy Award-winner and 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee - whose hits include ‘I’m Every Woman’, ‘Ain’t Nobody’ and ‘I Feel For You’ - proudly joins us this year for a very special appearance in London's Trafalgar Square.
Pride in London returns on Saturday 5th July for its 53rd year with a stellar line-up of artists performing across six performance areas around Central London. Pride in London’s six stages, including Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Golden Square, Soho Square, Dean Street, and a Family Stage, will play host to over 100 performers including icons from the LGBTQ+ community.
On the iconic Trafalgar Square stage, headliner Chaka Khan will be joined by Queenz, Grammy nominee Durand Bernarr, Eurovision 2025 winner JJ, Jay Jay Revlon, drag superstar La Voix, Eurovision’s Miriana Conte, HERE AND NOW - The Steps Musical, Queer Asian Takeover, Dylan and the Moon, Sing Space Choir, Justin Peng, Cocoa Butter Club, Anthony Hughes, Butch, Please!, and Dan Devlin for performances, alongside talks from Queerwell, Stonewall, Jake and Hannah Graf, and Not a Phase.
The stage will be hosted by Will Njobvu and Asifa Lahore, as well as by guest hosts including Frankie Grande, Titanique’s Lauren Drew, Hedwig and the Angry Inch creator John Cameron Mitchell, and cabaret and West End star Trevor Ashley.
Pride in London’s Leicester Square stage, which celebrates LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary communities, will feature Kaylee Golding (DJ), girli, Miriana Conte, Chloe Star, Anita B Queen, CATTY, MABEL (DJ), Redrum, Butch, Please!, Megan Jayne Crabbe, Lazy Violet, Queer Edge, Don One and Smashlyn Monroe. The stage will be hosted by returning host Char Bailey and Sade Giliberti, with speakers including Eliza Rain, Soraya Vivian and Queer Edge.
The Golden Square stage, will feature performances and talks from Amaria BB, Keanan, Vanity Milan, Carter The Bandit, Mark Ashley (DJ), Nile, Cocoa Butter Club, Reptile B, Lexxicon, Tayce London, Don One, Thandi Phoenix, Kelechi, JiGH and Shafire Spins (DJ). The stage will be hosted by Myles Haart and Thandi Phoenix.
The Dean Street stage, Pride in London’s Cabaret stage, will feature performers and speakers including Ghetto Fabulous, Queer Asian Takeover, Dean McCullough’s Pop Machine, La Voix, John Cameron Mitchell, Coco Deville, Trevor Ashley, Viola, Sam Buttery, Adam All & Apple Derrieres, Alexandria St Paine, Skylar Cister and Crip Ladywood. The stage will be hosted by Crip Ladywood & Sam Buttery.
The Soho Square stage will be celebrating the trans and non-binary community through fantastic performances & speeches. Curated by Mzz Kimberley, the stage will host talks and performances from the likes of DJ Tasty Tim, Telisa, Geri Love, Tobre, Sarah Savage, Ms A London Bok, Temptation, DJ Princess Julia, Kit Green, Others, The Divine, Alexis Solia, DJ Kaspa and Andrea Giovanni Finally, Pride in London will once again play host to a Family Stage, set in the Family & Youth Area in Victoria Embankment Gardens, for LGBTQ+ families in the community, hosting a range of performances and activities for all ages.
Parade Details
This year the Parade is scheduled to start at 12pm and finish at 6pm, running from Hyde Park Corner, through Piccadilly Circus, down Haymarket along Cockspur to Trafalgar Square, culminating at Whitehall Place. Attendees are invited to watch from any of the designated public spaces along the route. The parade map can be downloaded here.
The parade will see over 500 groups, made up of LGBT+ Community Groups, LGBT+ businesses, and partners, forming together to make a total of over 33,000 participants. As usual, the Mayor of London will be leading the parade.
Travel into and around Central London on the 5th of July will be extremely busy, so Pride in London recommends taking extra caution, planning ahead where possible to avoid delays, and travelling early to avoid overcrowding and congestion. For Parade participants, the TfL recommends arriving at Marble Arch, Bond Street or Hyde Park Corner. For those wanting to view the parade or attend the events on Trafalgar Square or in Soho, the TfL recommends arriving at Bond Street, Victoria, Tottenham Court Road, Charing Cross, Embankment or Westminster. Official Pride in London After Party
Following the day’s activities, Grammy-nominated artist Durand Bernarr will take to the decks for an exclusive DJ set at the official Pride in London After Party on Saturday 5th July at One Ninety Four Piccadilly. Known for his eclectic musical taste and ability to seamlessly blend genres, Bernarr will bring his unique sonic vision to close out the Pride weekend in style.
