Trans Cuban Film Fundraiser + After Party

Join us for a night of Trans Cuban Film + After Party in solidarity with Translúcidos.The event has been organised in collaboration with The Post Bar Tottenham and Not The Owners, a curator-driven, purpose-led gallery. 100% of Ticket Sales are in support of Translúcidos, an independent grassroots mutual aid organisation run by and for Trans Masculine and Gender Non-Conforming Cubans in Cuba.

Films We will be featuring 3 short films by contemporary queer Cuban filmmakers (including two trans Cuban directors), centered on stories about trans Cubans:

1. Jíbaro (2023), Osmany Sánchez Arañó (20 mins)
2. Un Tipo Como Tu (2024), Llámame Ava (7 mins)
3. Mi Alma Azul (2020), Liam Durán Cardona (30 mins) Drinks and food will be available during intermissions.

After Party We will be hosting an after party with music tracks by queer latinx artists, and will have artworks on sale by queer latinx artists, hosted by Not The Owners.
